"Why be so polite? Just freshen up and take a good rest. Wasn't today exhausting?" Gu Junming said, holding her hand and gently hugging her twice.

Sun Chan shyly pushed him away: "You go rest, weren't you exhausted?"

Gu Junming laughed, "Actually, I'm not that tired, but seeing the family like this really wore me out. You must be even more tired."

Fortunately, these issues with the Gu Family have nothing to do with them. Once they're married, it's not likely they'll live together anyway.

Otherwise, with Sun Chan's small frame, she probably wouldn't be able to handle it for long.

She went to the small room nearby to freshen up, and when she returned, Gu Junming had already left. Surprisingly, there was a brand new white set of pajamas lying on the bed.

Sun Chan picked up the clothes with a smile, feeling moved. Did Gu Junming buy these for me?

She lay in bed, unable to sleep for a while, so she picked up a magazine from the desk. It was a famous movie weekly from those years, filled with the latest film magazines.

Sun Chan looked at the images inside; the clothes worn by the stars were really glamorous. Watching them, she thought about how to cut the fabric, so she could make something similar herself.

The more she looked, the more excited she became. Upon seeing a pen holder and some blank paper on the table, she took them out and began to draw. She designed a few dresses, more conservative than those in the magazine, but just as beautiful.

After dealing with so many things, Sun Chan got up a little late in the morning. She had just finished getting ready when Gu Junming called her.

"Come down for breakfast, everyone's up, let's have a meal together."

"No, I should go back. If I didn't return last night, my elder sister might be worried." Sun Chan was a bit nervous, really not wanting to eat with so many people.

Wang Guihua was fuming with anger but ultimately said nothing, glaring at her husband and angrily going back to the room.

Looking at the pile of dishes on the table, Gu Zishan sighed and had to tidy up himself.

Sun Chan and Gu Junming took one car, while Gu Juntao and his wife sat in the car behind, heading back together.

Just as the car turned the corner of the courtyard, they saw a woman being harassed by a man in a floral shirt. The man was in his thirties and looked okay, but his actions were rough, almost pulling Bai Fanglan to the ground several times.
