Individually, they were no match. Together, they fared no better. Sora and Reiju swiftly killed each one in turn with ease.

Sora, now clad in his combat suit, chuckled and spoke quietly through his earpiece, "Enel has a Logia-type Devil Fruit—the Rumble-Rumble Fruit. His Observation Haki is also decent. Even though you've learned Armament Haki, don't let your guard down."

Knowing Enel's "Mantra" ability in advance, Reiju had followed Sora's advice and crafted a communicator that emitted static, masking their voices and disabling Enel's eavesdropping.

"I got it. I'll handle him."

"God or not, he's just another con artist playing dress-up."

Reiju shrugged nonchalantly and spoke loudly to Sora.

Confident in their intel and weaknesses, she was more than ready to ambush Enel with Sora's support.

"Yahahaha! You've got quite the mouth for a girl from the Blue Sea."

A flash of lightning burst forth, and Enel materialized before Reiju, laughing arrogantly.

Since gaining his lightning powers, no one had dared to speak to him like this.

"Oh? So you're the so-called 'god' of this island?" Reiju sneered, sizing him up with obvious disdain.

"You're just a frog in a well, playing king because of a Logia fruit. Guys like you are all over the New World."

Enel's smile faded as her words cut deep. His expression turned cold.

"Girl from the Blue Sea, mocking a god will bring divine punishment."

Reiju casually held out her hand. "Then punish me."

Veins bulged on Enel's forehead as he raised a hand.

A crackling bolt surged from his palm, taking the form of a massive thunderbird and flying straight at Reiju.

But she was ready. She threw down two metal rods into the ground, redirecting the lightning harmlessly into the earth.

"What…?"

Enel stared in shock, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Reiju smirked.

"Ever heard of a lightning rod? Kids in the Blue Sea learn about these by age three."

"Oh mighty god… you didn't know that, did you?"

"You wouldn't… couldn't… not know… right?"

Sora, watching from the side, couldn't help but feel a little awkward.

Sure, it was part of the plan to taunt and provoke Enel—but he hadn't realized Reiju could be this sharp-tongued.

Then again, considering she wielded a poison-based ability, perhaps her tongue really was venomous in every sense.

"You're asking to die!"

Enel, repeatedly insulted, exploded in fury. He flashed in front of Reiju and reached for her head.

If lightning wouldn't work at range, then he'd fry her with One Hundred Million Volts up close.

Reiju grinned as he grabbed her head—exactly as she planned. She immediately caught hold of the hand on her head with her own.

Enel grinned, prepared to end it—until the next moment.

His lightning powers weren't working.

Reiju watched his stunned expression and laughed.

"What's wrong? Can't use your powers?"

"These gloves are laced with Sea Prism Stone. Specially made just for this moment."

"You do know what that is, don't you, oh heavenly one?"

Enel's expression changed instantly.

He swung his golden staff with his left hand in a panic, but Reiju caught it with ease.

At the same time, Sora pulled something massive from thin air—a Sea Prism Stone prison, masked with wooden panels, large enough to trap both combatants. It dropped over them in an instant.

It was the same cell from the Divine Slave, modified and hidden in Sora's subspace storage.

"Leave the rest to you," Sora said, casually sitting down outside the prison, smiling.

No need to waste one of his Supreme Swordsman Experience Cards.

"You planned this!"

Enel could feel the strength draining from his body. He hadn't imagined that one mistake would bring such a crushing reversal.

"Of course we did."

Reiju lifted him effortlessly and slammed him to the ground.

Inside the Sea Prism cell, Enel's Logia powers were nullified. Even his body weakened. Facing Reiju—already in her combat suit, and a natural powerhouse—he was completely helpless.

"You—!"

Bang!

Enel opened his mouth to speak—Reiju punched him across the face.

"I'm a god—!"

Bang!

"You filthy Blue Sea monkeys—!"

Outside the cell, Sora watched as Reiju absolutely pummelled the "god" and shook his head with mild pity.

The so-called divine ruler of Skypiea—Enel—was dead. Beaten to death by Reiju's fists and her toxins.

Reiju tossed Enel's corpse aside, pulled out a tissue to wipe the blood from her gloves, and looked at Sora.

"What now?"

Sora smiled and looked around at the surrounding forest.

Tonight, the Straw Hat crew would be camping in these woods. It was the perfect chance to capture Nami and Robin.

He wouldn't let it slip by.

"Obviously, we go find the Straw Hats."

"Nami-chan and Robin-chan are waiting for me."
