"Do you think he'll succeed?" asked Philip with concern outside the dungeon, looking at August.

Ever since Daniel had entered the dungeon, his stress had been rising every passing moment. He was even starting to regret giving him permission to enter.

Many of the teachers were clearly unhappy — some even angry — with the decision, but due to the presence of the president of the city's Awakened Association, none of them dared to speak up.

"Don't worry." Just as August said that, the dungeon suddenly started glowing.

"Instead of staring, shouldn't you be checking on the students?" Daniel said, noticing no one was moving.

The teachers exchanged glances and immediately rushed to check on the students, also remembering to call the hospital to send support as soon as possible.

"Don't you want your sister to be examined?" August asked, watching Daniel approach his friend — that chubby guy.

"She's fine. If possible, I'll talk to you later," Daniel replied.

August nodded, and Daniel signaled to Joe to leave. Joe was looking at Daniel like he was a monster.

How had his friend changed so much in such a short time? What kind of monster was this? He didn't even know if he was dreaming or if this was real anymore.

Daniel ignored his expressions and left the academy, getting into Joe's car. He sat in the back seat and placed his sister's head on his lap.

"Take me home," he told Joe, and Joe started driving.

It didn't take long for them to arrive. Daniel got out of the car, carrying his sister again.

"Aren't you coming in?" He looked at Joe and asked.

"Today's not a good day. I'll definitely come for lunch some other day," Joe shook his head and declined. Clearly, this wasn't the time to intrude.

"See you later, then," Daniel nodded and walked toward the apartment.

As he went, he kept thinking about how he was going to explain everything to his mom. If she saw Alice like this, she would definitely skin both of them alive.

In the end, he sighed and decided to put all the blame on his sister's shoulders. He really didn't have the patience for his mom's nagging right now.

"Mom?" He unlocked the door with his keys and stepped inside, calling out for her — but no response.

"Looks like she's not home yet." He sighed in relief, seeing that she hadn't returned.

He took his sister to her room and laid her down on the bed, then returned to the living room and collapsed on the couch.

"I left the Celestial Domain to get some rest, and this is the result." Thinking about it, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

It really seemed like fate wouldn't let him rest even for one day.

"Let's check Zargorth's panel." He turned his attention to Zargorth's panel.

And considering that his own strength as a C-rank was already above average, in front of a B-rank? It's basically garbage — not even worth mentioning.
