Moon's limbs were weak as she walked into the living room; Eva casually had Candy sitting on her lap, her fingers playing with the little girl's pigtails.

Moon wasn't a tad comfortable, her instinct told her to get her daughter as far away from Eva as possible.

She went over to the couch in front of them and lowered herself.

"Ah, look how beautiful you still are, Moon, even after having a baby, you even look hotter than me," Eva giggled.

Moon felt unhinged; she cleared her throat and managed to smile at Eva. "Let the girl go, then we can talk," She shifted to the edge of the couch.

Eva looked at Candy and then at Moon, "Candy? Oh, I thought you needed her to hear about all our wonderful plans together; I mean, it's good she knows how wonderful her mother is," She petted the girl's head.

Moon slowly shook her head, "Just let her go, Eva, and we'll talk," Her tone was firm yet pleading.

Eva sighed, "Fine. Nice to meet you, pretty angel, stay an angel forever, okay?" She kissed the girl's cheek and lowered her feet to the floor.

"Will you visit us again? Mummy never has visitors, even Daddy never comes here," Candy said, glancing at her mother.

Eva turned to Moon, "Really? Your Daddy is never here? Why's that? He doesn't like your Mummy?" She gave Moon a daunting look.

"Enough, Candy. Go play in your room," Moon ordered

"Bye, Eva," She waved at Eva and walked toward a passage at a corner.

The moment the girl disappeared, Moon's face changed maliciously, "What do you want, Eva? You're supposed to be dead. What do you want from me? What does Ariel want from me?" She questioned with a heavy frown.

Eva looked surprised, "Ariel? She survived? Oh my, that idiot is really hard to kill," She shook her head.

Moon was confused, "What do you mean? Are you not with her now? Weren't you both thrown into the..." She paused, tapping her feet on the floor.

"Thrown where Moon?" Eva asked cluelessly.

Eva just wants to make sure Moon said everything herself, for record purposes.

"Thrown into the fucking ocean, Eva! You're not supposed to be here, alive! Why are you both messing with my brain?! What do you want?!" Moon sprang up and put her hands on her waist.

"Relax, Moon, how sure are you that we were thrown into the ocean?" Eva questioned.

Moon scoffed, "You think Hugo is some local assassin? He isn't; he's a renowned assassin, he'd never ever disappointed at a job, but look! He failed me,"

"So you really admit to hiring an assassin for Ariel and myself?" Eva asked.

"Don't play fucking dumb, Eva Hudson! It was you and I, we hired him together, remember?" Moon glared at Eva.

Eva nodded, "True, but, you see, we had just planned to kidnap Ariel, maybe shoot her, not to kill, of course. We just wanted to get her out of the way so that I could marry Aiden Chaz, just as you promised me...but you know how the story went..." Eva moved closer to Moon.

"You betrayed me, you shot bother Ariel and I, intending to kill us. You never wanted me to marry Aiden Chaz, you just wanted to use me and get rid of Ariel. It was like killing two birds with one stone, you get rid of the person Aiden Chaz loved, then also get rid of a potential competition...that was just too sister Moon, but I'm here for it," Eva smiled at her and sat down again.

Moon hurried her brows; Eva was confusing the life out of her; she didn't know if she was here for revenge or something else.

"What do you mean? Eva? Are you planning to expose me now?" Moon raised a brow at her.

"Expose? No, that would be stupid. You see, I'm here to continue our project. You promised to let your brother marry me if I can make Ariel go, right?" She smirked at Moon.

Moon was silent. She didn't like where the conversation was heading, was Eva serious?

"That was what I said, Eva, but now you already know the situation, Aiden is with me now and-"

"With you?" Eva looked around the house, chuckling.

"I don't see no man in here, Moon. All I see is an abandoned single mother who used soon to lose everything after I tell Aiden Chaz what she's been up to," She threatened.

"You wouldn't, you'll go down with me," Moon smiled.

Eva nodded, "Unlike you, I have nothing to lose, want to dare?" Her voice was chilling.

Moon paused, her heart racing, she did have something to lose: Aiden, Candy, her last name. She couldn't afford to lose any of them, they were what defined her.

She sighed and lowered herself beside Eva, "Tell me what you want, but first, you have to tell me how you both survived," Moon spoke quietly.

Eva smiled victoriously, "I can only speak for myself, I'm as shocked as you are about Ariel's comeback. All I can tell you is that I escaped," She shrugged.

Moon shook her head, "No way, Hugo sent me a picture of both you and Ariel's body lying on the floor before he threw you inside the oc-"

"Yeah, he did...but you see, I only got shot in the shoulder; I didn't die as he thought; I guess he's not really a renowned assassin as you thought. I managed to keep myself afloat and luckily, a boat saved me. Ariel thought I was sure I saw her sink right into the bottom; how did she survive? I have no idea. I've been in this country for three years, and yes, I heard that you sired a child for the Chaz family, but you see, you and I know that Candy is not the first heir, Jace is, and I can help you to get rid of him, and the mother, of course," Eva crossed her legs.

Moon's eyes shined maliciously; this was the type of news she wanted to hear. Getting rid of that stupid boy would be the best thing to happen. Her sweet daughter deserved to be the first and last.

"What do you want in return?" Moon asked suspiciously.

Eva raised a finger in front of Moon, "First things first. I saw Hugo at the mall last time, and I had to hide for my life. You have to call him and tell him that I am on your side, I don't want to get snatched up when I least expect it,"

"Secondly," She raised the second finger, "All I want is Aiden Chaz. You have to kill that dream of becoming his wife, let's face it, what else do you want? Look at the house you are living in; your whole life is covered as long as Candy is involved. So we'll do it fifty-fifty; you already have a child for him; let me be the wife. Or...you can be the wife, and I'll have a child for him, which means that Candy had to leave the picture," Eva winked.

Moon shifted away from Eva. "Stop the joke, Eva. Don't ever bring my daughter into this mess...you can be the wife. Just promise me you'll take that bastard and her mother away," She reasoned.

Eva laughed darkly, "Agreed, but you know I can't act publicly, if Ariel sees me, it'll be over for me. I need an assistant," She said.

Moon smiled, "I'm already a step ahead of you. I've contacted Hugo about Ariel, how about you tell Hugo your plans...he'll make it easier. " Moon suggested.

"How do I get in touch?" Eva asked as if she already didn't know where Hugo lived.

"Meet him at the central mall by 9 p.m., he drives a white truck..." Moon said, sending a text to someone.

Eva peeked and saw that it was Hugo who Moon was texting. She almost scoffed.

Eva was thankful for her change; looking at Moon, she realized that jealousy, greed, and anger made someone look stupid. It also takes away your rationality and makes you think only of irrational actions without considering the result.

As she stared at Moon, who was seriously typing a long evil text to Hugo, she almost wanted to ask her to stop and even plead with her to let it all go, but she didn't.

Moon would learn, as Eva did. Experience I'd always be the best teacher.

"He'll be there, don't be late," Moon informed.

Eva slowly got up and headed for the door.

Moon was left speechless. She didn't understand why Eva was leaving without a word.

"Leaving?" She asked, stopping her.

Eva paused at the door and turned to Moon, "Just to be sure...this time, you want Ariel and her child killed, right?" She questioned.

Moon nodded, "Yes, killed and buried," She replied.

"Heard," Eva said and walked out of the house.
