Magnus and Savra were now walking toward Lucius' room to see his current progress. Magnus then immediately looked at his mother and asked something.

"Mother, what stage do you think Lucius is in right now? You've seen how Evolists worked before so you know their processes better than I do."

Savra then answered Magnus' question while explaining it a bit. "If he is a genuine Evolist, then he should still be in the preparation phase. Checking the beast and the materials is always the first step."

Magnus, who heard it, frowned a bit as he thought. "Checking? Isn't the process for evolving a beast just to evolve the beast? Don't Evolists have a recipe or formula for these things?"

Savra, who heard it, only smirked and said, "It's not as simple as following a recipe and evolving a beast by giving it some materials. There were some steps."

Savra then began to explain it more to him: "Not all of the beasts are the same, even though they are the same species. Their body and potential are different. Materials also have some differences, as qualities in them."

Savra then concluded it all into one simple sentence: "A skilled Evolist needs to know what materials fit the best for the beast to let the perfect evolution."

Magnus, who heard it, began to understand the reason why these Evolists were arrogant, as their jobs were pretty hard. "I see. So you're saying even if Lucius is competent, he's probably still in the checking stage. That would explain why it's taking time."

Savra then nodded as she said something about Lucius: "A perfect evolution is a hard process so you can see that as the reason why Evolists are rather arrogant. The fact that Lucius hasn't asked for assistance suggests he's either confident or... overconfident."

Magnus smirked upon hearing what Savra said: "Overconfidence can be dangerous, but in this case, I'm curious. If Lucius truly knows what he's doing, then he's worth far more than we initially thought. And if he is not, then we'll deal with him accordingly."

Savra only nodded after he heard what Magnus said: "Let's see what he's accomplished. If he's still checking the materials, we'll gauge his methods. But if he's moved beyond that..."

"Then we might have found someone exceptional that will contribute to the raising of our family," continued Magnus, who was now excited while going to Lucius' room.

Magnus and Savra then arrived at Lucius room and immediately entered and the moment they entered, they were shocked at what they were seeing.

Lucius casually sat on a chair while grilling some meat that he asked for from the maids. But what shocked them the most was the thing that Lucius used as a griller.

Lucius was actually using Magnus' Lava Turtle's shell as a griller to grill his meat and this was what shocked them the most.

Magnus, who was now seeing this situation immediately, became angry as he shouted, "Damn you, Lucius! What the hell are you doing to my Lava Turtle?!"

Lucius, who was still grilling his meat, only smiled and answered, "Grilling beast meat. Want some? It's quite tender and also tastes the best after being grilled here."

Savra, who heard Magnus immediately angry, said to him, "Stop for a minute and look at your beast properly, you fool!"
