The trees were of a more typical size, and the leaves detached from their branches to be carried by the wind in a delicate aerial ballet before gently descending to the ground. It was as if the forest were celebrating the arrival of autumn, offering a display of natural beauty.

The change in environment was also reflected in the temperature, which was now considerably warmer than in the snowy landscape we had left behind. The sun filtered through the branches of the trees, creating patterns of light and shadow that painted the ground with fascinating designs.

As I looked at the autumn trees, the girls were in the midst of a battle, for some reason they wanted to take charge, I think they didn't want to feel useless or something like that.

A large green ball abruptly collided with some E-rank creatures, which looked like humanoid trees but on a smaller scale. Small branches protruded from their bodies, giving them an ominous and sinister appearance. All of these beings emerged from a much larger tree, which also appeared to be alive.

On its deformed trunk, a grotesque face could be distinguished, seemingly observing its surroundings with malevolence.

Upon closer inspection, I could distinguish some students' bodies among the tree branches, but they were extremely dry, as if they had been stripped of their life essence. The creatures' branches moved agilely, trying to capture Eleanor, who was surrounded by flames that enveloped her, making her the most effective option in the fight against these wooden beings.

The situation turned out to be less dangerous than it initially seemed. With each advance of these grotesque creatures, Eleanor easily knocked them down with a simple swing of her sword. Meanwhile, the flames from her weapon became the main source of destruction for the central tree, which seemed to be the origin of these abominations.

I watched as Eleanor's sword flames penetrated the tree trunk, triggering a huge explosion that engulfed the trunk in burning red flames. The tree roared in agony as the flames consumed its branches and reduced it to ashes. The humanoids emerging from it also began to scream, and I understood that they shared a mental connection with the tree, as if they were a hive.

After a few minutes, the sky was filled with a thick layer of smoke, the product of the fire consuming the tree and its creatures. This column of smoke would surely attract the attention of other students brave enough to come investigate what was happening in the forest.

From the ground rose a huge amount of molten iron, emitting a scorching heat that quickly flooded the ruined square with the pungent smell of pure metal. The titan's armor began to melt under the intensity of the heat, but instead of succumbing, the metal reformed and solidified again, creating a series of iron walls that surrounded us.

Sharp spikes formed on the newly created walls, while a metal dome closed over the square, enclosing us in a kind of makeshift cage. From the titan's mouth, ominous sounds could be heard, as if an internal engine were revving up, and its body began to tremble violently, accompanied by its deafening roars.

The titan's black bones began to transform, acquiring a matte metallic tone as they fused with the molten iron. A brown liquid substance quickly formed around its skull, forming a circle that it then rubbed onto its head. It stood up once again, and its spear began to move through the air with an agility and grace that seemed supernatural.

The titan's transformation was evident and alarming. Its body gained volume, and its gaze became wilder and more threatening with each passing second, its armor also changed, creating spikes around it.

Alicia frowned, her once-black hair turned a beautiful white, and her gray eyes turned blue, her sword had a blue glow surrounding it, she watched as the titan activated its domain expansion, she looked at her friend Emily, her eyes were still as calm as ever but also tiredness in them, Ezequiel was in front looking at the titan with a grim expression.

In the midst of the lush green forest, I watched as the creatures moved agilely through the branches, demonstrating surprising skill. They were small and fast, but their speed was not enough to avoid Alexandra's accurate attack. A beam of light pierced one of them, and at that moment, Alexandra's warm and loving expression transformed into a cold and ruthless gaze.

Her beautiful golden hair waved gently in the wind as her eyes remained fixed on the creatures surrounding them.

With skill and grace, Alexandra extended her hands, and specks of light began to sway gently around her. With precise movements, the small specks of light shot out like projectiles, eliminating each of the creatures that dared to approach. These creatures, classified as D-rank, resembled small monkeys.

Meanwhile, an agile and green figure moved among the shadows of the branches. It was Nicholas, armed with his short daggers, demonstrating his expertise as a skilled assassin. With quick and precise movements, he cut off the heads of the monkeys with apparent calmness, showing a skill that only a true master possessed. His calm and almost bored expression concealed intense concentration.

Leopold nodded satisfactorily as he finally saw something happening according to plan. His eyes turned backward, indicating a shift in his focus.

From Leopold's hands emerged beautiful green branches, adorned with flowers of vibrant colors that gleamed in the sunlight filtering through the forest canopy. The branches spread rapidly, piercing the bodies of the monkeys surrounding us. Once the flowers came into contact with them, something extraordinary happened.

A large number of flowers began to grow around the monkeys, surrounding them in a colorful and fragrant glow. Suddenly, sharp spikes sprouted from the flowers, bombarding the remaining monkeys with devastating force. The creatures' bodies were marked by huge holes where the spikes had penetrated, and soon the ground was filled with blood, the flowers on the ground turned red.
