Xander's nose was assaulted by the smell of old people and coffee as he entered into a quite expensive-looking restaurant.

The man beside him also held a walking stick so Xander thought that he probably has some issues with his legs or something.

As they walked to a table the camera inside the shop which was directly above the door scanned the old man and then the light below it blinked in a green light and then went back to normal. No one seemed to notice this as they continued their normal activities like usual.

'This place is too big for a coffee store. I can't believe it still runs in the midst of all the chaos. They must have some kind of insurance.' Xander thought while nodding.

The man made his way to a seat not far from them with an empty table and he gestured for Xander to take a seat at the other end of the table.

The chairs were long and they were made with soft red leather for the comfort of their customers. One speck of dust couldn't be seen on the table which was painted golden and it was so smooth and cold as Xander trailed his fingers on it.

'They even have virtual service and electronic orders!!' Xander was mind blown as he gazed at the screen that was floating above the table which had a list.

The man in front of him tapped a specific part and then his two fingers shifted the screen to the side so that he could see Xander's face very well.

"You seem like a good kid. What's your name boy?" The man asked with a smile but Xander was confused.

'I'm 18. I'm a young adult, not a kid... but whatever.' Xander shrugged. "Xander."

"Xander. So do you mind sharing with me what's bothering you?" The man asked with a smirk.

Xander then let out a deep breath as he began to talk:

"I'm confused. A person dear to me is missing and I have been looking for her. Everytime I get close to finding her, it just turns out to be a dead end."

"Hm. Maybe the universe doesn't want you to find her. Was she kidnapped?" The man asked.

It was normal for kidnappings to happen ever so frequently since the returnees started sweeping earth.

"Yes, she was. It's been months. I'm just lost and confused." Xander rested his back on the expensive couch.

At that moment a beautiful black haired waitress approached their table with a tray.

"Here are the coffees." She gently bent down to put down the tray.

Xander looked elsewhere as he saw that there was a provocative opening on her shirt, revealing her breasts to them.

Unbeknownst to him that the man observed this action.

After the waitress left the man observed Xander as he sipped his tea.

'I wonder if it really calms. I never liked coffee in the first place.' Xander thought as he stared down at the tea and then he looked at the old man who was looking that him with a smile. 'Well, I agreed to come here so I might as well go for it.'

"Here goes."

With reluctance he sipped the coffee from the fist sized cup and then he felt the hotness passing through his lungs.

After that it was like he was electrified for a brief moment as his mind seem to calm down suddenly. His head felt lighter and he breathed out as he dropped the cup of coffee on the tray and rested on the couch again.

"So how was it?" The man asked with a confident smile.

Xander smiled.

"It works wonders," Xander replied. He felt like a weight was just lifted off of his shoulders.

"Hm." The man nodded and then they enjoyed their tea in silence.

After a few more minutes the man finally spoke up.

"So Xander. The person you're missing must be your lover." The man deducted making Xander furrow his brows.

"What makes you think that?"

The man chuckled as he revealed, "I saw you look away from the waiter's breasts."

Xander smiled bitterly as he defended himself. "I wanted to focus on the tea. More thoughts will give me a headache."

The man didn't say anything after that so Xander asked, "What about you? What bothers you?"

The man was stunned as he looked at the young man who had a tranquil expression on his face.

"I met my childhood crush a few months ago. But she's married now and I don't want to have indecent thoughts about her. She's staying at my place because of some problems, and every single day the temptation to... you know, becomes more and more harder to resist." The old man spoke as if he was talking to a very close friend.

"And what do you plan to do? Are you going to do something?" Xander asked. 'I think this tea is also making me not overthink this situation. Yes, if not I won't be talking to an old man so formally.' He thought.

"If it were you in my shoes what would you do?" The man asked while squinting his eyes at Xander.

"I would leave the house for her and stay at one of my friends' place." Xander shrugged.

The reply took the man by surprise as he didn't expect such from the young man in front of him. He thought the boy would probably day something like 'I would bang her' or 'Fuck marriage. I'll take her there and then'.

'This kid is really interesting.' The man thought.

"So what do YOU... plan to do?" Xander asked again.

The man didn't think too much and just answered with what he had in mind, "I plan to get four packs of calming tea bags. And then I'll get addicted to it."

"That's also a great idea." Xander admitted.

All of a sudden the shop was plunged into chaos as loud sounds of sirens echoed in the surroundings and people wearing red fell from the sky and surrounded the shop.

'What are they doing here?' Xander thought as he saw that it was the uniform of terrox organization.

The man behind him only furrowed his brows as he watched another man walk into the shop in a red suit.

'Dad?' Xander recognized his dad who entered the shop with Yukimira and Natasha by his sides.
