Wang Jian received the information of Lin Feng's departure to the Thundering Hemlock Woods through Fen Gen.

Fen Gen further stated in his letter that Lin Feng was looking for information on Origin Realm Lightning Beasts in the Thundering Hemlock Woods.

"So, he is really upgrading his sword. That sword must possess the power to treat Kang Huian," Wang Jian whispered.

An evil smile appeared on his face as he thought, 'It's prime time to act against these tribes.'

Wang Jian sent a message to Fen Gen.

"Come to the Pleasant Maple Ravine tonight. I need to have a thorough discussion with you."

As Fen Gen read Wang Jian's instructions, he was taken aback. He pondered Wang Jian's intentions and concluded that Wang Jian was probably planning to get rid of him.

This prospect filled him with intense fear.

However, he further thought about this possibility and realized that he might be overthinking.

Wang Jian was already aware of the Night Dagger Clan's latest lair. He might have simply killed Fen Gen by slipping inside the lair as he did the previous time.

Thus, Fen Gen decided to take a leap of faith and followed Wang Jian's instructions.

Su Xian seemed annoyed upon being summoned to Wang Jian's room. She asked him, "What is it you want this time?"

"Massage my legs," Wang Jian responded flatly.

Su Xian gritted her teeth upon hearing this order. She protested by speaking, "I don't know how to massage."

"I don't care. Just lightly press my feet," Wang Jian ordered domineeringly.

Su Xian seemed infuriated as she asserted, "I will stop immediately if you dare to touch me."

Wang Jian raised his brows in amusement as he heard this threat.

"Hoh, really?"

"Yes!" Su Xian spoke. She didn't care about anything at this point. Knowing Lin Feng was safe and sound with the three great clans gave her peace of mind, as she realized Wang Jian could no longer use the Lin Feng's death to threaten her to do his bidding.

If worst comes to worst, she could just bite her tongue and die.

Wang Jian instantly read Su Xian's intentions by the look in her eyes.

'What a naïve little girl. Messing with her is truly fun,' Wang Jian thought.

The look of righteous indignation on Su Xian's face only intensified Wang Jian's desire to corrupt her.

"Sure. I won't touch you as long as you massage earnestly," Wang Jian assured candidly.

Su Xian seemed slightly relieved upon hearing those words and nodded, "Alright."

Wang Jian shifted a little to make some space for Su Xian to sit.

She sat on the side of Wang Jian's bed and began massaging his legs. Her claim of not knowing any massage methods seemed to be a falsehood as Wang Jian experienced incredible bliss.

He doubted that she was capable of giving such in-depth massages.

Even Su Xian relaxed as she noticed Wang Jian was truly relishing the massage.

In reality, Wang Jian was waiting. He was waiting for Su Xian to let her guard down.

Su Xian let her guard down, but only after half an hour.

Wang Jian's right hand abruptly grasped Su Xian's right hand firmly, and she was pulled into his bed before she could resist.

"Greetings, Lord Wang," Fen Gen respectfully uttered.

Wang Jian nodded in response to the greeting, but he picked up on Fen Gen's evident apprehension.

"What is the situation?" Wang Jian questioned.

"…Apparently, Kang Huian has fallen victim to Devil Venom while she was recovering from her injuries in the Miracle Angel Tribe. The Miracle Angel Tribe failed to heal her and suggested killing her. Lin Feng forcefully brought Kang Huian out of the Miracle Angel Tribe and rushed here," Fen Gen explained.

"Hmm. That tactic to attack Lin Feng in the Crimson Mammoth Warriors hideout was successful. Lin Feng must be thinking that someone in Crimson Mammoth Warriors is collaborating with me, so he decided that staying at your clan would be the best," Wang Jian elaborated with a sharp glint.

Fen Gen agreed with Wang Jian's analysis, "Lin Feng mentioned a few conditions before asserting that he would be heading for the Thundering Hemlock Woods."

"From now on, do exactly as I tell you," Wang Jian asserted with a diabolic smile.
