Zon had seen the past of Red's life, and after seeing what happened with the All Knowing, he had decided to look deeper into his memories. The system was a strange thing, as it allowed one not just to look into what had occurred at the time, but somewhat also link what the person was feeling as well.

It was allowing Zon to see the truth of all of Red's thoughts at the time, and now he was diving deep. When Red had first joined the Red Fortis group, when he was part of the group, and everything he had been tasked with.

Zon wanted to take it all in, and then it had ended, he had seen it all, and continued to look at Red who was on the ground.

"What a complicated man you were Red… and it turns out I was wrong in every way possible." Zon said.

"What, did you see?" Anna asked.

In response, Zon then threw the system chip in the air. Anna had caught it. It was near invisible to the human eye, but she had caught it. She was a bit hesitant to look into the system. She figured that Zon had already looked through it and was fine, so there was no harm in doing so.

But a part of her wondered, what would be so different after she looked into it. What would have changed? She couldn't imagine finding anything about Red would change her view about him.

The Captain was always softer than most. It was this side of him that made it best for him to lead such a team. Regardless, she decided to look into the system anyway, the curiosity was too much for her.

She started to see the same thing the Captain had seen, and then went through everything. She was just going through the same steps as the Captain, and finally, she had seen everything.

"What the heck," Anna said. "Red did all of that?"

"Correct." Zon said. "He was a strange man that seemed to put a lot on his shoulders. He carried the weight of everything with him, all for the sake of the team."

Now they both understood. When looking through the memories, Red's feelings were complex, but ultimately he cared about the Red Fortis group more than anything, more than anything in the world.

When Red had joined the group, he took on the dirty jobs, but it wasn't because he enjoyed it. It wasn't because he thrived on killing or war, anything like that. It was because he didn't want the others to have the burden of it all.

He took on all the dirty tasks so only he would be the one to take on the pain. It was his way of showing he cared, his way of helping the Fortis group as much as he could.

He even had volunteered for the trial system at the time, afraid that maybe the All Knowing was trying to control them. Maybe something would go wrong in the experiment. It made a particular view the others had, but he didn't care.

He didn't care about the names the others called him. He just cared that he had a group of people that he was helping more than anything.

Which was why, when it came to it, when he was asked to destroy the very family he cared about, he had snapped inside—killing the All Knowing and destroying the very machine that had given those orders.

Red didn't want the truth to come out. He didn't want to try and explain himself, because he feared that maybe those in the Red Fortis army would agree with the All Knowing.

They had followed every order blindly. So if it stated that the best thing for the country, the best thing for them, was to be gone and disappear from this world, that they would do it.

So in order to save them, he had become the enemy, keeping the secret deep within. Zon had ventured a little into his life when joining Pagna.

Because of the way he was, there wasn't really any group for him to join. In the end, it was Heino who had found him and his powers. He was able to be of use to a group again.

But the feelings weren't the same. He continued to do task after task, believing it was to help Alter, to help the rest of Pagna, but nothing was making sense to him.

Yet what else could he do? How could he live his life? There were many times where he thought that it was better if he just disappeared, because he was no longer needed, until he had found out the Captain was here in Pagna.

The final gift that he would give to the Captain was the satisfaction of completing the task. Although he didn't want to burden the Captain with the truth, there was a part of him while in Pagna that felt so alone.

He didn't want the Captain to hate him, and he could see the pure hatred in his eyes. So he wished for the Captain to just know how he truly felt and decided to give him the system in the end.

"I feel like with this, I made a deep… deep mistake." Zon claimed.

"No." Anna said, placing her hand on his back. "We all would have done the same thing. This, in a strange way, was everything that Red wanted. I think when we go back to Trozon and meet the rest of the Red Fortis army, we should tell them the truth.

"I don't think the whole group should live in hatred for Red, when it was because of him we all were able to live our lives."

Zon agreed, and then he and Anna looked off back to the battlefield.

"The fighting is still going on. In order to head back home, we need to make sure Raze and the others can win."

The two had used a lot of energy, so they wouldn't be a big impact in the battle now, but they would be able to help in some way.
